This is the holiday session for Deb & Brett Preach in 2013. Again, I am so lucky and grateful to have this wonderful family in my life. They really are a great group of people. I played volleyball with their oldest daughter Lindsay; and now they are all grown up. graduated from college, with adult jobs! Weird how times have changed! They are an easy going, lovely family which makes it easy for me to photograph! Here is their session:

Andrea: Peoria Senior Session

I didn't know Andrea prior to our meeting for her senior pictures. She was a senior at Peoria and I was asked if I would take a few pictures of her. I agreed and upon meeting her I was floored by her sweet nature. She was a beautiful girl, who I'm glad I had the privilege of meeting. We didn't go very far for her session, literally, we did her session at Peoria. The campus is full of beautiful new building and old ones that I thought it would be fun. When I saw her last she was planning on attending a community college to get started on her nursing degree. I hope that wherever she ended up is doing well. Here is her session:

The Hersh Family Session

Trisha Hersh received her session as a gift from her sister several months prior to her session. We had waited a while to schedule hoping the Arizona temperatures would cool down, as well as she wanted some images with her mother-in-law who was in town visiting. For this session we met at Marley Park in Surprise; which if you haven't been there it is such an adorable community with a open and green park. They were a beautiful family, very natural in front of the camera. I am glad that I had the opportunity to meet and photograph them.

Monse: 2013 Senior Session

I didn't really know Monse prior to our meeting for her senior pictures. I had seen her around campus, but that was pretty much it. I am glad that I went out on a limb and asked her about senior pictures. We did her session out in Vistancia and that was the first time I had photographed there in a long while. I was super excited for her session, she not only brought her sparkling personality but PROPS, which made the session a little more fun and it brought out her personality a little more. It was definitely hard for me to pick favorites from this session, because I loved them all!

Brian & Ashley: Surprise Engagement

Oh you have to love a good old fashioned surprise. Well most people would. I hate surprises, but this was a great surprise that I felt so lucky to have gotten to be apart of. Brian is the son of one of my co-works, she approached me asking me if I would be interested in helping plan out his proposal. I was so honored to have been thought of and ask, especially because I hadn't done anything like that before. In our covert operation we figured out a date and location. Even though Arizona decided to have weather the weekend of the scheduled session, we still managed to keep the surprise. At the right moment, I signed Brian and he spoke to Ashley about their time they've spent together and how she has impacted his life, he got down on one knee and popped the question!! Awww..I was so honored to be a part of their special moment. Check out her reaction; priceless.

Heidi is 15 Months

This beautiful baby girl is Heidi. In the summer of 2014 she had just turned 15 months and her mom wanted to capture this fun age! We met up at CCV for a mini session, Heidi was so fun and active. She was completely fascinated by everything around that she could run and grab. We did play a few rounds of tag which consisted of me chasing her; but well worth it for the images I captured of her gorgeous blue eyes and smile! Check out her session:

Beauty Is Not Just Skin Deep

In the Spring of 2014 I did a session for a friend who was interested in entering the Miss Arizona beauty pageant. Kaitlyn is someone who I met while I worked at Hollister, she is not only beautiful but she has genuine spirit about herself. My favorite thing about Kaitlyn is her ability to not take life too seriously. She has no problem finding the silver lining in life and even laughing at herself. For a while she studied at NAU and then moved back down to Phoenix to finish up her schooling at ASU. In September she had a glorious day as a bride and got to marry her best friend, and former Hollister coworker Joey. It was a fun afternoon with a lot of laughs, here is her session:

Bella Turns 3!!

This little lady probably looks familiar, as I photographer her and her parents prior to this in a Dallas Cowboy themed session. Isabella, also known simply as Bella is a sassy, fashion forward, silly, beautiful little girl! We went to downtown Phoenix to celebrate her turning a very BIG 3! Her personality definitely out shined the props that I brought along for her! With a little bit of gummy and bubbles bribery we managed to get some wonderful images of her! Happy Birthday Bella!

A Preach Family Holiday

One of my favorite families! The Preach's! They managed to get ALL the family together (which for them is incredibly hard to do) for a holiday photo. This included a total of 25 people! There were the parents +5 children and their families; 14 grandchildren total and Jackson the puppy had to be included. It took a little while to wrangle everyone together, but I luckily brought with me 2 additional photographers to help organize. With such a fun, and beautiful family its no wonder their images came out lovely. Happy Holidays from The Preach's 2011!

Nathan: Ironwood Senior

Nathan was a 2013 graduate from Ironwood High School. We traveled to Sahuaro Ranch Park for his session, where it was there that I discovered his natural ability in front of the camera!! Usually guys can be tough to photograph, but he was a natural with a great serious and fun side! Nathan went on to play soccer at Phoenix College for 2 years and he is currently playing soccer for the Men's team at GCU. I know his mamma is proud, she boasts all the time about her kids!! This family has a special place in my heart as I have done a few sessions for them now. Check out Nathan's session below:

The Schaefer's Labor Day Mini Session

It's so crazy how quickly life changes things. It's nice to take a moment and look at all the sessions that I've done. This was one of 6 sessions I did a few years ago during Labor Day weekend. Todd and Caitlin I knew from high school; I photographed them with their little boy Caleb who I think was maybe 2 at the time. Again, crazy how life changes. Caleb is in pre-school now and has a little brother Lucas who is 2! In just a few short years this beautiful family of 3 has grown to a family of 4. I pray for many more years and blessings on this family. Here is their session from a few years ago:

Q's Senior Session

At the time of this session, which was Fall of 2012, Quentin was a senior at Northwest Christian High School. He played varsity football and after graduation he planned on joining the United States Army. His parents worked at the high school I attended, so I have known the family for a few years. It's always a little more challenging photographing males, they have this idea that not smiling is the only way to go. I managed to get a few smiles out of Q, just for his mom...who at some point did start to tear up realizing her baby boy would be off on his own soon. One of those bittersweet moments. Here is his session:

Dance to Express, Not to Impress

This must have been one of the cooler summer days in Arizona! I photographed this dance inspired session July of 2013. I love dance! I used to dance in high school, and had been wanting to do a fun session like this for a while. I had contacted Marina who has a BRILLIANT story and has danced for many many years, and also attended my high school. She was able to have 2 of her friends join us for an experimental, fun day in downtown phoenix. Here is their session:

Talk about a stunner!! Veronica is just absolutely beautiful. One of those girls who is not only gorgeous outwardly, but honestly has a genuine sweet and caring personality. We met during our time at Hollister, which as most knows, has its expectations for its employees. She is such a great kid, so much so that is now studying at Baylor University! I know fancy right!! I wanted to take her out just for a fun session, super low key. She was amazing to photograph, and had the sultry look down perfect!! Here are some images from her session:

Mallory is 13!!!

What joyous occasion for a young girl. The big 13...officially a teenager!! I was invited over to the McDowell's to celebrate Mallory turning 13. It was an awesome party full of her friends, food, cake, an ice cream bar, and backyard BBQ. I again, was honored to be able to capture so a special time for Mallory and the McDowell's as they celebrated. Mallory is such a wonderful young lady. She is smart and funny and a great athlete and big sister. I am excited to see what her future will hold as she continues to grow into a beautiful young woman.

The McDowells, literally one of my favorite families. Robyn (mom) I have known for several years, she coached me in my youth for volleyball and has and continues to be a close family friend. I love when I have the opportunity to photograph her beautiful kids. The oldest Mallory I have known since she was 3 and now I just found out she is driving!! Every time I see them, this occasion included, I can't help but to exclaim: 'Stop Growing'!!!

A Grose Family Holiday

The Grose family's session was taken about 2 years ago. They are a family I had grown to love and adore and spent much time with. The youngest daughter played high school volleyball at the school I coach at; she has currently graduated and is now playing college volleyball. For this winter family session we went to Thunderbird Mountain. It wasn't the first time that I had ever been, I hike this mountain frequently, but it was the first time that I photographed there. I'm glad that my first experience was with this family. A tough love; full of shoves and sarcastic remarks which made for the hike to be quite entertaining!!

Jessica: Nurse & Fitness Pro

This is a session I did Spring of 2013 of a high school friend. Jessica and I went to high school together, what seems to be a LONG time ago!! At the time Jessica was just finishing up nursing school and wanted to do a session to commemorate this huge accomplishment. She was also becoming interested in the fitness industry, trying her hand in some competitions and fitness modeling. We meet up in Vistancia and did some 'traditional' style images, before Jessica changed and I snapped a few in her athletic gear. Here are a few from the fitness side of her session:

Oh How Things Have Changed...

In 2012: Matt and Jessica were a small family of three that I got to capture with my camera. Fast forward 2 years later and I, once again am privileged enough to do another family session for them. This time, however, we celebrate their latest addition to the family, adorable little Ryan...and a sparkling diamond ring. My session with Jessica and Matt in 2014 celebrated their family transition from a family of 3 to a family of 4; and Matt taking the plunge and proposing to Jessica! It was exciting to photograph them for the holidays as well as their engagement (our weddings were 10 days a part) !! Bella was still adorable with her giant smile, while Ryan was a bit of a handful once he discovered the stairs! Regardless, this stylish-sweet family is wonderful and I was thankful for another opportunity to photograph them.

This session was done in September of 2012. Matt and Jessica are old friends from high school. I was so thrilled that I had the privilege to photograph their beautiful family. It was a fun day to meet up at Sahuaro Ranch Park for their session. They are huge fans of the Dallas Cowboys, so it was fitting that early September that was their attire. Bella is such a beautiful little girl, with a bright smile and sparkling personality in front of the camera! Here is there session:

Marilyn's Downtown Session

This session was posted today, 4 years ago. This is Marilyn, one of my good friends at the time. We both had a shared interest in photography so I decided to take her out just for fun to play model for a day. We spent the afternoon in Downtown Glendale and Peoria and shared in a day of laughter and trying to persevere past awkwardness! Here is her session.

Transferring Images

As I have gone through all the necessary steps and paperwork to legally change my name. I have also changed my name for my business; and remodeled my website. Now I will begin the process of transferring some of my favorite moments, pictures, and posts to my new site from my old. It will be nice to re-visit some of my sessions. Be sure to check them out and leave some love...again!!
